Three Ghost Puppets

I have joked on my other blog, Happy Birthday Author, that my kids often have better ideas than I do.  Yesterday was one of those times when my son said, "We should make Three Ghost Puppets!"  Before I could say yes he said, "We could use the old socks in the basement and put the faces on them and wear them on our hands!"  I said, "Let's do it!"

So here is what happened:

We found three white child-sized socks in the pile of orphaned socks in the basement. My boys put them on their hands and I drew the Three Ghost Friends face on each. My son said that it "tickled" when I did it!
We had the idea to reenact parts of Three Ghost Friends: Learn About Opposites. The first opposite presented in the book is "Ghosts on. Ghosts off."  Here are our Three Ghost Puppets "on" the couch.
And "off" the couch.
My son said, "Let's go in the bathtub."  In the e-book, Three Ghost Friends also present the opposite "Ghosts dirty. Ghosts clean."
We only did "Ghosts clean" but that was exciting enough -- as you can tell!
We also did "Ghosts inside."
"Ghosts outside."
Three Ghost Puppets!
Thank you to my son for coming up with this fun 30 minute activity. It must also be noted that my youngest son slept with the puppets on his hands for his whole afternoon nap!

This activity was based upon the e-book Three Ghost Friends: Learn About Opposites!
