Three Ghost Friends Toddler Busy Bag: Beginner Puzzles

Welcome to Three Ghost Friends Toddler Busy Bag Activities Week!

What are toddler busy bags?  They are quick activities that can be pulled out when a parent needs a few minutes to keep their toddler busy -- make lunch, go to the bathroom, talk on the phone, or check Facebook! Keep all the materials in a bag so that they can be set up in a moment's notice or taken with you as a portable activity.

The week has come to an end and five toddler busy bag activities are now available that go along with the Three Ghost Friends e-books! (Look for links to the other activities below). Even if you do not have an iPad or iPhone your toddler could still benefit from the activities.  Please use them (and tell a friend who has an iPad or iPhone that you heard about these great e-books for young readers)!

What you Will Need:
2. Thick white paper/card stock
3. Cardboard (reuse a cereal box)
4. Scissors
5. Storage bag
6. Glue Stick

1. Print the activity sheet on thick paper.
2. Mount sheet on cardboard.
3. Cut out ghosts. (I just cut them out as squares --not flush to the edge.)
4. Cut ghost in half.
5. Child will match the halves by finding the same color.

I used a glue stick to mount the whole sheet on a used cereal box and then cut out the ghosts.
I cut the ghosts in half and mixed them up!
Here are the ghosts all matched together.
My almost two year old son matches the yellow after I asked him to "find same".
Finishing up the beginner ghost puzzles!
Place all your puzzle pieces in a storage bag to keep them together.
