What you will need to make Ghost Catchers:
1. (3) One gallon milk plastic milk cartons
2. Scissors
3. Black Sharpie Marker
4. Something to catch and throw (socks worked best for us)

My son removed the labels from the milk cartons. If you find that the labels do not come off completely, try running the area under hot water and scraping the rest of the label off. |

Next, we cut a hole in the top of the carton. I started cutting at the small opening. |

Then, I cut down and around. |

I cut until I removed the top of the milk carton. |

Next, I drew a ghost face on each carton with a black Sharpie marker. |

We started by tossing plastic fruit - bananas, strawberries, blueberries -- but that got dangerous quickly! |

We chose these fruits because the Three Ghost Friends eat them in Book #1 of the series. |

The balled-up socks worked perfect! We even talked about mixing colors. If we caught red and blue socks we said that our ghost turned purple. We had a blast playing Ghost Catchers! |
My son would love this! Thanks for linking it up to Kid's Co-op!
